So, what do you need to see this weekend vs NW...just a win?

I think the other thread has been pretty interesting when it comes to the game this weekend.

Last weekend I think most of us would have been and are happy that it was "just a win" no matter the score or how it happened.

Are you happy with just a win this weekend? 14-13, 21-20, 28-27...will you be okay with that?

Or will that make you feel like a corner has not been turned?

Things I would like to see:

1. Never being down on the scored board this Saturday

2. Up by 10 or more at half

3. Game salted away with 10 minutes left.

Something with a final score of 35-14 would be a really good indicator, I think, of things to come.

 
I would agree with most (if not all) of the OP. While "just a win" will be nice, I expect more out of this team and these coaches against a very bad Northwestern team. I would like NU to establish itself as the superior team in the first half, get a comfortable lead in the 3rd quarter, and coast to an easy win in the 4th.

 
I don't want there to be any point in the game it feels like we could lose (got enough of that last week) and I will be happy with a win but not overly excited by winning by anything less than 2 tds.

 
A W is good enough, being our history with them.

But their offense has stunk this year, so I would like to see our D show some dominance. And for sure I don't want to watch our guys chasing Thorson down the field on a 50 yard run.

meh. Just win. This day and age? Just win. Sure if it looks bad we can get all caught up how were gonna lose the next 8 and all. So be it. But just win and advance.

 
I want to see a tight game for 3 quarters with Nebraska pulling away late. Makes the game discussion thread more entertaining.
