Man did Jim Rose seem like he couldn't wait to get in bed with Josh Freeman last night? "Back on to the field comes the amazing phenom". "We'd better start a petition to get this kid in the NFL after this year so we don't have to see him anymore". JIM ROSE YOU ANNOUCE FOOTBALL FOR THE NEBRASKA CORNHUSKERS!!! I can't stand Jim Rose and he makes comments like this everyweek but it just seemed worse this week. On top of it Freeman has lets see ZERO touchdowns and SIX!!! interceptions now, man I could probably be a phenom then in college football! Oh and did anyone else hear him say "And now the Huskers come out to the see of purple and the best student section in the big 12" What a fricken tool... I hope one of these days his he just stops talking because Adrian knocked his lights out during the broadcast.

He makes that "best student section in the UNIVERSE!!" comment every friggin time we play in the rotten apple. It didnt bother me the 1st couple times I heard it, but for him to feel its necessary to say that everytime is nauseating.

Im not saying NU's SS is the best (largely thanks to the AD for stuffing us in the corner among other reasons), but how someone could say STATES students are MORE AWESOMER fans after their well-documented reputation for bush league sportsmanship, is reckless journalism if nothing else. Not to mention flat wrong. I havent been there, but expect ATM to be at the top in the country, mainly because they are the focus of the stadium (take notes UNL) and have great traditions.

And with Rose's KState manlovefest & lack of love from most Husker fans, I cant help but think that he is "padding his resume" to take the Mildcat job when Pavelka takes back over.

 
I agree that A&M has the best ss in the country. They are loud and have a great tradition. I wish ours was like that.

 
Yeah he was making me freakin sick the whole time!!! I was like who the hell are you announcing for a$$wipe!!!! Made me think that everytime Freeman came out on the field Rose was :hmmm

Yes this week was the worst. I have kind of been on the fence thinking some of complaints were just for the sake of complaining. After this week though, I would rather listen to the visitors announcers.

p.s. His quirky comments on the Coach Callahan show suck too.

 
At least he is not as about as the Miami announcers. If you haven't heard them, then go to the audio section and listen to what they have to say during the Miami brawl.

 
Jim is horrible on the Coach C show. He doesn't even ask him q's. He says compliments and lets Coach talk about them. I wish he would have some guts and ask him some real questions sometimes. He will be gone after this year though imo.

The end of the Auburn-Florida game last night was the loudest stadium I've heard (on TV) in some time. Quite impressive. Hope NU fans can match that this Saturday.

Rose will be gone soon.
