Solich Curse question

As I understand it, having less than 4 losses after the bowl game would break the Solich curse. Or would it be less than 3 losses for the regular season?

In 2003 Solich went 9-3 reg season and 10-3 after smoking Smoker and MSU in the Alamo Bowl (although that was Bo coaching the bowl)

 
It wouldn't be less than 3 losses in the regular season, because we went 10-2 reg season under Bo in 2010 and 2012.

So a win at Iowa combined with a Wisconsin win over Minnesota would break the curse. Winning the West actually extends it to the CCG or bowl.

Well wouldn't we have to win the bowl as well? Could still end up 10-3 if we beat Iowa

10-3 would count, I guess. I don't know why we're calling this the Solich curse instead of of the 4 loss trend or whatever, but Bo's 4 losses every season is what I sense is being referred to. If we go 10-3, that's the first time since 2003 that we've had less than 4 losses. If we go 11-2, or 11-3/12-2 if we somehow made the championship game, either of those would be our best season since 2001.

The TL;DR is that we haven't lost less than 4 games since Frank'a final season, 13 years ago. That's the "curse"

 
The Red Sox purchased and burned Babe Ruth's bat The Cubs allowed goats into Wrigley field. Something must be done to reconcile the firing of Solich!
