Solich's recruiting

McDowell scored a couple of TDs for troy in there bowl game. Franks recruits weren't always that bad.
DT McDowell
6-20 with 1 TD and 1 INT, 13 rushes for 18 yards and 2 TD's against Northern Illinois

Another big stat for the game: Northern Illinois 34-Troy 21.

TD's are the key, but that is a 30% completion rate and 1.4 yards per carry. Light years away from Jammal Lord even. His QB rating was lower than Joe Dailey's by 13.5 points for this season, and you know how bad that was. Eric, I think you actually just proved that Solich's recruiting of qb's sucked. ;)

Do you believe SOlich will go after Nebraska kids that Callahan doesn't want?? Say a Dan Gorski
Without a doubt. Coaches tend to recruit the areas in which they have connections.

Which, when you think about it, sure makes you wonder why so many K-State coaches apparently previously worked in prisons....

Convicts. You know, if you worked in the South, you recruit from that region because you have the contacts there. You work in a prision, you recruit from prisons 'cause you have the contacts there... ;)
