Souder gone!?!?!

lol why do you think he was #2 at the alamo game
Stewart Bradley Steve O and Bo Ruud were hurt :woo
Injuries happen as proven last year, they very well could happen in the future. If going elsewhere is the right move for Jeff, good luck to him. I would have liked to see him become a regular in the next couple years.

i just got off the phone with coach callahan. he said the scholarship will not be going to me because...

  • i already graduated.
  • i'm middle-aged, over-weight doughboy.
  • i run like a girl.
  • i hit like a pansy.
  • and again, he just doesn' t like me.
he also demanded to know where i got his cell number. (thanks, formerfan!)

He says he might go into the service. This kid is alright in my book. This is according to the World Herald.

He really was doing pretty darn good I heard.  His coach said he wasn't happy about some things.  He'll be a good player somewhere.  He wouldn't of made played much this coming year but the year after he probably would of played quite a bit.
for the kids, it is all about playing now, nothing else matters.....to most of them

I went to high school with Jeff's older brothers who are both in the military. You have to remember that he is from a military family and is very close with his siblings. This kid went through Navy Seals training with his oldest brother the summer before his senior year, and I think most of us know how that benefited him. There is obviously a desire by Jeff to support his country, and you can't blame him for that. So don't just say it's all because of PT, respect his decision to do what's best for him, even if it for personal reasons.

I truly hate to see this one go. Not that I think he would have been an All-American or anything like that - I think teams need players with his spirit, determination, and fire. I think he's a bigger loss than would be indicated by his limited playing time or even his potential.

Good luck to him, regardless.
