Well what do you expect Pelini to say? "Yes, I'm going to accept the job right after the game tomorrow. In fact, my players will be without a coach for their bowl game and should keep that in the back of their minds during the game tomorrow."

I bet TO hasn't officially offered the job to Pelini so that both parties can have a clear conscience when they say that no offer has been made yet. But I also bet that there is an unofficial agreement that Pelini will be the next coach.

Your dont know politic speak. Pelini didnt deny it. He just said he doesnt know where they got their info. It wasnt supposed to be leaked. If Pelini knew who leaked it, he would tell Osborne and that person would be fired. He didnt lie, he just made you think he said something he didnt.

What if Nebraska announced Bo Pelini at Sunday's men's basketball game? Introduced him at halftime, or inbetween the men's and women's game?

Huskers play Arizona State at 1 p.m. in the Big 12-Pac 10 Hardwood Series. It's televised on ESPNU.

It'd be one way of assuring a sellout crowd ...

I guess I do not understand why we had to spend additional money on the Atlanta search group. This was decided back when the team left for Texas. Too bad we did not have more qualified head coaches that wanted this job. Bo will do fine the first year or two. We will be terrorizing opponents very soon. It will be great to see his mug for half the LSU game on Saturday with the Nebraska name. Nothing like a little free publicity.

Marvin was on my NU Freshman team back in '86 although I doubt he'd remember me. He was a good guy, a very good player - and is an even better coach.

I love Turner, but gotta admit....I'm psyched!!!!!!

If they're willing to put their reputations on the line as journalists and say it's confirmed, one has to believe that they're fairly comfortable with their sources.
