quad contusions are no joke. depending on the severity, he could be gimped for 3+ months. They can form scar tissue, limit the motion of the knee, and have nasty bone-level internal bleeding.

At a minimum he is out a week or two if its a grade one. Grade 3 were looking at the above scenario (3+ months) plus possibility of major calcium build up and scar formation limiting mobility.

Man I guess i didnt know potential severity of it.... hopefully its not 3+ month situation.... I thought i read in the practice report(LJS) that he was riding the stationary bike at practice.
