Speed, hitters and size

McBride was the greatest of all time. I wander if Bo is too stubborn to take some tips from Charlie and actually utilize them on gameday. Any of you ever heard and Bo and Charlie putting their minds together on things?

Of course, Bo and Charlie's schemes couldn't be more different.

Sounds like a great 1, 2, 3 combo if you ask me. Speed first, hitters second, and size third.
I would say size second and hitters third, but I'm just bein a pest now. The point of this thread is that Bo might put too much stock into intangibles and not quite enough into measurables.

Interesting article. Agree tackling is teachable and fixable. Couple things interesting to me. Coach McBride didn't seem like it was time to be drastic. He also seemed to say in his defense the players were very "live" with the tackling in practice. Makes me wonder if our defense has enough opportunity in practice to realistically tackle and finish plays.
