"Rey's parents are not in Episode VII," Abrams said to the audience. "So I can't possibly at this moment tell you who they are."
Later: “What I meant was that she doesn’t discover them in Episode VII. Not that they may not already be in her world,” Abrams said.
Anyhow, I'm sticking with my theory that Rey was a young padawan when the sh#t went down with Kylo.
