Embarassing Nebraska Loss Costs the University Millions

It has been announced today, that following Nebraska 8 turnover, 9-7 loss to Iowa State not only cost Nebraska in the conference standings but also in the pocketbook.

Two major sponsors have pulled their contracts for the remainder of the 2009 season. Vise-Grip Tools, producer of self-locking tools, and and All-State Insurance, the good hands people, have pulled their sponsorships. However, there is expected to be an announcement this week that Crisco and Butterfinger candy bars have signed sponsorship contracts to stay on for the rest of the season.
