Spring Game Tickets on Sale at Huskers.com
The University of Nebraska has announced that tickets to the April 15 Red-White Spring Football Game are available for purchase. Tickets are available at Huskers.com and can also be purchased by contacting the Nebraska Athletic Ticket Office at 1-800-8BIG RED.
Because of on-going construction, seating in the North Stadium will not be available for this year's Spring Game, meaning capacity for the Spring Game will be 57,000. Fans are encouraged to buy their tickets early, as the 2004 spring game drew 61,417 fans, while the 2005 contest attracted 63,416 fans to Memorial Stadium.
The cost of tickets for the Red-White game are $6 for adults and $3 for youth (high school age and younger) and seniors. Children age 6 and under and UNL students will be admitted for free. Children wishing to take the Drug Free Pledge at halftime will also be admitted for free. Kickoff for the Red-White Spring Game is set for 12:30 p.m.
Husker fans will have plenty of options in Lincoln on April 15. In addition to the Red-White Game, the Nebraska baseball team will take on Texas A&M in a 3 p.m. game at Hawks Field; the Husker softball team will take on Baylor at 1 p.m. and the Husker track team will host the Nebraska Invitational in the afternoon.
