Dont try it. I had squirrel once at some rednecks house in Florida and it was nasty. I'm not into eating rodents much.

I have had the chance to try both. Squirrel wasnt bad but the smell of the possum about made me gag. It smelled like a turd covered in burnt hair dipped in vomit.

So possum is a liver&onions substitute.
