Stanford @ Oregon

Don't think on the reviewed play there was enough evidence that he had control of the ball before he was out of bounds. Think it was bad call by the replay official.

You couldn't tell if he had control of the football when his right shoulder hit the ground, but as the rest of his body was falling back, you could tell he had control of the ball before his left shoulder went out of bounds.

By the spot, it was a touchdown.

However, i didn't think it was catch anyway. Don't you have to have control of the ball the entire time while you are coming down?

And it might not be Oregon. Stanford is also 7 - 1. We already know that UCLA clinched the south, Stanford is tied with Oregon in the North and they now have the tiebreaker. The only way Oregon goes to the PAC - 12 champ game is that Stanford loses to UCLA and they win against Oregon St.

But if Stanford wins against UCLA, it doesn't matter what the Ducks do, Stanford will play UCLA again in the PAC - 12 champ game that following Friday. .

No, not as long as you have control in bounds and the ball doesn't touch ground. Guys juggle catches all the time, right? And it always counts unless they get control before going OB. Catching/gaining control on the ground is fine.

In the name of all that is holy, let Stanford beat UCLA next week so that we wouldn't have to play Oregon in the Rose Bowl.
