jliehr, how exactly do I do that? I know next to nothing about coding, other than what I have been able to slap together in this site.

It's not coding to turn off directory browsing, it'd be in the httpd.conf in a <directory> tag. You can find more information about that here http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.2/mod/core.html#directory and here http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.2/mod/core.html#options .

I thought your first one was pretty great. This design seems more easy to navigate. Both are fine.

need an audio guy?

In the long run yes. After we get the cashola to build a studio, I was to put a small audio production studio in there as well, and we will need to hire an audio guy. Although I'm hoping to find somebody that can compose music for projects as well.

hit me up...maybe I might consider a move to Lincoln then

glad you're looking to add an audio guy though. Many post studios don't have them anymore...at least in the midwest. We're one of the few that do here in KC.

I briefly checked it out...

both are fine. Keep it simple, IMO. The best looking sites have everything directly on the screen without the need for the viewer to scroll. The tabs on the bottom are the same thing as the tabs on top? What I think you should do is have the main page contain your demos (and a button to scroll through them)...and then leave the links on top for people who want to know more. Get rid of the stuff at the bottom. First impression is everything and you want potential clients to see your best work right at the start.

Otherwise, I think everything looks great. I like the shadow effect on the vimeo player
