That would be "to start the opener", right? Crouch started some games in 98 as a redshirt frosh, right? We've never had a true freshman start the opener, afaik.

Heck, we've hardly had any sophs start the opener. Frazier, probably Taylor, Dailey?, Tagge (or Brownson?), Humm? Not Gill.
