Starting QB

Simple, who will it be?

Starter
I know we've all been discussing it, seemingly forever, but I'd like to see the numbers. My guess is T-Magic gets the majority of votes, but I'm curious to see how the votes fall.

For the record, I have Zac Lee

It just seems like most media is pointing to T-Magic. With the evolution of the offense to more of a running QB, to me T.M. is a no brainer with his speed. Just anxious to see what he can do in a real game.

Everything I've heard seems to be that T-Magic will start. Whether he will be the starter going to Washington is something we'll have to wait and see about.

Zac will start in the opening series, and T-mart fans will cry and complain until the 3rd quarter when he finally comes out. Then after the game, T-mart fans will complain more that he should have seen more playing time. :)

I have been pulling for Taylor since last year when I heard about him on the scout team. I voted Lee earlier this week on another poll, not sure if it was here but I changed it to Taylor with all the talk the last few days of him starting.

:koolaid2: :koolaid2: :koolaid2:

Aside from a few guys posting here who have insight inside the program, nobody here "knows" anything. All the guys inside are saying Martinez, so who am I to gainsay them?

I still don't see the point in pulling for one specific quarterback. What's wrong with having the best guy on the field that gives us the best chance to win? If that's Lee, Martinez, or Green, what does it matter?

I voted for Martinez simply because all the information seems to be pointing towards him starting, not because I want him to be the starter.

ZL will get the start.... how long he stays in the game i dont know... and if they score quickly and often he gets pulled giving the other guys a chance to see some action..... which if all goes well could potentially spell disaster for lee as starting QB.....

did i miss something? why does everyone seem to know martinez personally and know that he is cocky, a whiner, all of this other stuff?

While on the subject, I have just one request.

Can we not call Martinez "T-Magic" until he, you know, does something.

I pick Lee. But I think we'll see Martinez early and often.

What??! Didn't you know he's already single-handedly taken on a gang of Chuck Norrises? Or when he didn't realize he'd already scored the touchdown and knocked over the goal post? Sheesh! Where have YOU been?

Pssh. Call me when he goes on a strict Bald Eagle diet and gets away with it.

I have lived in So Cal since my family moved here when I was 1. We lived in Council Bluffs but I was born in Omaha. So, I have a soft spot for Taylor.(mancrush if you wish) Taylor is a Cali kid that was told he would be given a shot to compete for the QB position when he arrived in Lincoln. He red-shirts does well on the scout team. He does so well and then gets a lot of buzz for his play in the Red/White game. He has a good fall camp and the insiders are all saying he beat out a senior and a sophomore who started 2 games last year. For all of those reasons, that is why I am pulling for Taylor.
