Special Teams Player
I'm taking stats from games between conference teams only (meaning there are no stats counted from OOC games) and calculating z-scores for them. That's easily converted to a percentile. I average the percentiles for nine categories to get an idea of the pecking order in Nebraska's conference first and all of FBS second. To clarify further, a ranking of 50 means the team has average stats overall and anything higher is better (while lower is worse).
For ranking strength of schedule, I'm averaging the average percentiles for the teams faced. Minnesota's average percentile ranking for the nine categories I'm considering is 35 while Nebraska's is 41. The average percentile ranking of the teams Minnesota has faced in the B1G (to date this season) is 47 to a corresponding value of 53 for NU.
