Stoops says Bomar wasnt that good!

In this article Stoops says that Bomar wasnt exactly lighting it up and seems to be implying that it was no big loss .

The irony here is that before Bomar left , he was touted as the best qb in the big 12 this year by many OU fans. Now that he is gone, I guess he wasnt that good anyway.

Most coaches don't like to look back. I remember Callahan saying somethinkg like "It's one game, one season, I never look back"

If Bomar wasn't that good, then how bad is Thompson going to be if he was replaced by Bomar after one game last year. Paul is going to be awful according to Stoops' logic.

Logic may not be the most appropriate term to use in conjunction with Bomar and Stoops.

This is a way for Stoops to save face. He got burned by a kid that he thought was going to lead his team for the next three years. If he wasn't that good then what does it say about the rest of the jokers on their team that couldn't beat him out for the job.

Actually, they (the coaches) have said Thompson is quick and agile on his feet but his accuracy is "streaky". Guess Thompson isn't that great at throwing the ball. Wouldn't surprise me if they use more option plays and rely on AD more
