Don't mean to sound like a broken record here, but Ndamukong Suh is sure providing some good national publicity for the Nebraska football program. The ex-Husker graces the cover this week of the Sporting News, to hit newstands Thursday.
He looks menacing, as usual, dressed in a gray Nebraska football sweatshirt.
Riding the coattails of Suh, a story on the NU quarterback race serves as opening spread to a 10-page national story on spring football.
As for Suh, the magazine includes a seven-page article on him, written by Matt Crossman, and includes interviews with several former NU teammates.
Suh's going to be all over the news this week, as the NFL combine starts Wednesday, and for the foreseeable future. The NFL draft, for which Suh still rates as the near-consensus top prospect, remains nearly two months away. Because of Suh, that's two more months of offseason publicity for the NU program.
