Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh has won his appeal and will be eligible to play in Sunday's playoff game vs. Dallas.

Not surprising in that it wad a ridiculous suspension in the first place.

Surprising in that the NFL hardly ever makes the right decision.

Have to think Goodell has days when he sits in his office and just repeats, 'When will I have a day when I do everything right.' over and over.

Give him a break. He's mainly only dirty to QB's and theres like at least 11 guys on the field he is decent to, and thats not even counting officials.

Why The NFL Considered Ndamukong Suh A First-Time Offender
Under a policy change made earlier this year, players who behave themselves are allowed to escape the repeat-offender tag with time; if they go 32 games without committing a second finable or suspendable player-safety violation, they're off the list. When Suh stepped on Aaron Rodgers, he was playing in his 33rd game since his last fine—a low block on John Sullivan in Week 1 of 2013 that garnered a record $100,000.

(Suh is lucky the rule counts two preseason games per year toward the 32-game threshold; he wouldn't yet have reached it otherwise.

Getting fined for that block on Sullivan was complete BS also. Especially that much.

That block on Sullivan was only illegal because the NFL Rules Committee changed the rule the year PRIOR.

Apparently in Suh's appeal he told the NFL "my feet were cold and I couldn't tell the difference between Rodgers leg and the ground."

Anyone on Earth believe that?

Bueller?

Watching the video I was on the fence, but the utter lameness of that excuse convinces me Suh knew exactly what he was doing.

If he had taken Aaron Rodgers out of the playoffs, I never would have forgiven him. As it stands, his act is wearing thin. Rumor is he'll be out of Detroit soon.

Probably because his contract is up this year

And both parties are no longer fond of each other.
