I think he died a few years ago. He just forgot to lay down.

That is one alcohol preserved creepy old guy. He had no idea what was happening half the time. His commentary was almost like Fred Willard in Best of Show!

 
I cannot believe the invited him back to do the game....he is way too old and sucked when he was with Madden....talk about the blind leading the blind.

 
Yeah Summerall was bad, but so was the other guy (whoever he was). At one point he stated that Zach Taylor was in on punt coverage because he...I don't know...forgot that we have more than one #13 on the team? Or does he really think that we would put our starting QB in the interior line on a punt? What a moron!

I noticed that too!!!! I was yelling at the TV and was thinking what a damn moron!!!!

Please tell me I wasn't the only one that heard him call our kicker - Jordan CONDOM?!?! Oh...all the things you could say off of that...

"It looked like the kick would be good, but it just petered out at the end"

"He doesn't have a chance without better protection"

"He's going to take a ribbing for missing that kick"

and so on...

Wouldn't Summerall be a great spokesperson? All the products...Metamucil, Craftmatic, and the "Help I've fallen and can't get up" alert system.

Yeah Summerall was awful. You can tell he thought he was being "hip and with it" as he threw out as many "Lucky" puns as he could. Reminded me of Mr. Burns from the Simpsons.

Fox in General was pathetic, i liked how they tried to show Carriker on the sideline, and they showed some scrawny scout team dude who weighed 150 pounds, who happend to wear #90

Some things I noticed about NU during this bowl game:

That Purifee is gonan be something special.

Zac Taylor should have blocked that punt.

Carriker has lost a lot of weight.

 
Ah-ha! I was wondering why they were showing that skinny child in #90 on our sidelines!

There was another time earlier on when they were talking about ZT and showed McKeon on the field in/near the huddle. Yep, ZT on D!
