Surprise player??

After spring ball is over, who will we be talking about as the surprise player?? The player who came out of winter conditioning ready to play???

 
I think two of the players that are gonna be ready to play after winter conditioning are gonna be Bowman and Octavian. They should be an immediate impact on the defense and start things off for the freshmen coming in for the fall.

 
Cory Ross is another choice. It seems that everyone has passed him over. Lucky's coming in, Brandon Jackson running a 4.4. McCoy moving to RB. Ross is a truck. He's quick, a leader, and a senior.

I am going to agree. I expect the same amount of heart and effort I saw last year from him. I think he is going to emerge to be a leader on the squad this year. He certainly talks to the papers like he is.

Bowman isn't here right now is he?

How about Dailey for surprise player? Another year learning the system, maybe he's gotten just a bit better? Could happen, I don't think it will, but it is possible.

 
I wouldnt believe that...it isnt that hard to make the grades, and some of these athletes are pretty dumb and they get in so he will too.

 
I have a Uncle inlaw that is a local High school coach. He talked to Cosgrove at a coaching clinc recently. From the conversation they had he suggested that Lucky needed to improve on his ACT, he said that he thinks he will go the JUCO route.

Sorry I don't believe that. I've had to many other people tell me different and the omaha paper said basically he's in aslong as his gpa stays the same or higher.

 
Surprise?!?!? Maybe, but Joe Ganz has come out of no where to capture the number 3 QB slot. But things will change when Beck get's into town.
