Lennon, MI --Tuesday brought some tense moments in the tiny town of Lennon in Genesee County after a suspicious package came into a local post office.

Around 11:30 a.m., authorities say a Shiawassee County woman walked into the Lennon Post Office and said she had received a letter from India.

Originally it was thought there may be harmful substance inside, which prompted authorities to shut down the post office.

Don't know what the policy is for most post offices around the country but I don't thin my local post office shuts down and calls in the department of homeland security every time they receive a package from India. I guess it's because India is kind of close to Iraq or Afghanistan? And EVERYBODY knows nothing good can come from Iraq or Afghanistan, right, right???
