This must be a new tradition we're doing for Homecoming games now? Trail 2 or 3 TDs and pull off the 2nd half stunner for the win?

The difference is that tonight we were clearly the better team...we just crippled ourselves with idiotic turnovers/penalties. Ohio State had lined up and straight up beat us at the line of scrimmage, unlike Wisconsin who relied on luckboxed deep throws to score.

 
I just can't believe we went down by 17 twice due to a few fluky bad situations and still hung in there, hacking away until our team's superiority shined.

Yes, we don't get away with this vs a better team. But it still takes a team with some moxie to not let this game totally get away from them.

 
All I know is: the last two years of which I have been a student here at Nebraska, I've:

1) Bought a shirt made specially for the game--last year's B1G home opener, and this year's "Quick and the Red" shirt.

2) Worn my white Nebraska hat--the only other time I wore that to a game was last year against Ohio State.

--Something that I did differently though, was at some point in the 3rd quarter, after they scored off our fumble to start, I stomped my foot on the bleacher where I was standing (as much as I tried to keep the frustration in, it was too much). From then on, the team never looked better.
