Did anyone else see that MSU guy get called for a personal foul, was not called targeting, and then have the booth ring in and eject him from the game?

This is puzzling. He wasn't called for targeting by the ref, but the booth still rang in and weighed in on it.

They review every personal foul to see if it was targeting. Regardless or not if the ref originally called it one.

No. They review every targeting foul to see if they uphold the ejection.

Exactly, it wasn't called targeting on the field and yet the kid got ejected. This doesn't seem legal.

Forgot to mention, regardless, I disagree that it was targeting. He shouldn't have been ejected.
