Just curious as to the tax situation of fellow Huskerboarders. I filed a couple weeks ago, and am receiving a decent amount of money back. Nothing outrageous or life altering.

Don't lend the government your money! Try to break even each year.

Best one I saw was when I lived west of the Bellevue area, the cable company offer a free porno channel on tax day, because we were getting scr@wed.

I'm taking tea bags to work tomorrow.

I don't know what to pick for the last section. I'm getting money back, but less than last year.

My situation is a little more complex than filing a 1099, with taxes surrounding agriculture and the several people I payroll in various ways throughout the year, I feel better if I have some wiggle room on the positive side every year. I dont mind "lending" the government a couple grand for the peace of mind I get when tax times rolls around. I usually know the only surprises Im going to get are going to be positive.

That's my feeling too. I understand that I'm basically giving the government a tax free loan, but I'd rather be safe and get some back instead of having to pay in every spring.
