Does anyone else think think this is an odd way to select captains? On any team I've known of, the captains where the unquestioned leaders of the team, either because they are upperclassmen, highly respected by their teammates or possess some other quality that the rest of the team can look up to.Last year captains were a game-by-game thing. I don't know if we'll have year-long captains this time or not.
If anyone should be a captain, it should be Ndamukong Suh. If he's not, I'm not sure what being a team captain means.
I totally agree. I wish Bo would pick a couple of constant guys. If captains are changed every week it's like they're not really captains at all.Does anyone else think think this is an odd way to select captains? Selecting random players each week, or rewarding that weeks work out wonders seems pointless to me, and kind of defeats the purpose of even having them. But hey I'm not the coach so.............. :dunno
Nah, man. That's weird. I've never heard of that before either.Does anyone else think think this is an odd way to select captains? :yeahI'm in agreement that captains should be selected at the beginning of the season and remain as captains for the whole season. One from offense, one from defense, one from special teams, and maybe one rotating captain each week, but that's it.
Even better, have the players vote on permanent captains. I can't remember for sure... the players voted on captains each week last year didn't they?I totally agree.
