From my count we will have been on TV 8 times this year (ABC,ESPN,FSN) and on Versus once. That means that all of our major games have been televised in one way or another. Do we usually get this much airtime or do you think we have been "so" impressive for the most part in all of our games that people want to see us play? By so impressive I mean keeping it interesting or close. As long as we win these games I think it can be very helpful to the program especially with recruiting. I remember during Callahan's last year almost none of our games were televised.

I think a lot of it has to do with the era we're in. Pretty much every game is televised in some form somewhere anymore, or at least, the vast majority.

And a lot of it also has to do with our potential this year, some of which we realized and some we didn't. We also bring a lot of eyes to a TV game, so they're going to make money off of us, whether that's through advertising sales or PPV revenue.

3 of those games were on PPV... I think as the team played better, the more air time they got. Its just a matter of who is hot and who is not.

 
Last year: 3 non-conference PPV, two games on abc (Va Tech and and Colorado), two on ESPN (Oklahoma and Missouri), two on Versus (Baylor and Iowa State), one on FSN (Kansas), one on CBS (Gator Bowl) and I don't remember what Texas Tech and Kansas State were on but I don't think either was pay-per-view.

This year: 3 non-conference PPV, Va Tech on ABC, Missouri on ESPN, Texas Tech on ABC, Iowa State on FSN, Baylor on Versus, Oklahoma on ABC, Kansas on ABC, Kansas State on ESPN/ESPN2, Colorado on ABC, with chances for ABC (Big XII Championship Game) and Bowl Game on national tv somewhere.

We should all be very thankful that we have been able to watch the last 26-27 games in one way or another, a lot of programs are not so fortunate.

 
they have to pick the games in advance by a week or so.. be glad NU vs KU will be on... if they had the chance to do it over, they would drop it.

Now the north race is KSU vs NU. and that has been picked up by espn/2

 
TTech was on FSN and KState I am thinking was on ABC....but I did not realize that we had just as many games on tv last year as this year.
