For example, how many of the long tenured and highly paid UNL professors who don't care at all if there is a football team or sports of any kind, who raise hell when they read the millions of dollars being paid to a 'football coach' of all things.    And frankly, the prevailing salaries are in the big picture 'nuts'.  We are paying an defensive coordinator upwards of a million a year.

At a school like Nebraska where the athletic department is financially self-sufficient, they have nothing to complain about.

Personally I think they should fire Eichorst but give Riley a chance to straighten it out by the end of the season. I think most Husker fans are pretty forgiving and will give you a chance if they don't think they're being played.

Women's basketball doesn't make us any money, Amy has only had one year thus far and Eichorst's hand was kind of forced to get rid of Connie from a legal/liability perspective. Nevermind that this post was mostly tongue in cheek.
