That is why it will be all the sweeter when we beat Texas! Win or lose though we better at least look competent and that we belong there.

I don't doubt we are the best north team either. Last few years people have been saying two south schools should be the ones to battle it out in the CCG...and the way the north schools have played in those games it is hard not to agree a little bit so that's what I was saying.

 
I want us to win, play with heart, make it look like winning the north is nothing to be a joke about. Give Texas a run for it's money! :w00t :w00t :w00t

 
Actually we'll be a lot closer to TCU than Austin so don't be surprised how much red shows up. And don't forget the Plano gang that'll be there to watch Superman! With all the schools in Texas I seriously doubt they are all fans of the Horns. In fact probably some root for anybody who's playing Texas.

in many polls we are the second highest rated team in the big 12........

 
other than a fumble after a fumble didn't the sker's have the UTeruses by the short and curlys not too many years ago and not have a chance then either? and with a cosgrove D <_<

As arrogant as non Texan feel all Texan are. There is nothing worse in the state of Texas than being a fan of another Texas college when UT is successful.

Personaly i hate texas they are the reason there is a stinkin Big 12 and not a Big 8 they should have stayed in their SWC and been happy and left us Big 8 teams alone i would have saved time, headaches, and money. the Big 12 has become a showcase for texas to do what they want heck they even moved confrence headquarters down there it just angers me when i think about the big 12 in genral :steam

 
QUIT FREAKING KNOCKING THE STATE OF TEXAS. THIS HUSKERS PROGRAM WOULDN'T EVEN BE ON THE MAP IF IT WASN'T FOR THE HELP OF TEXAS HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETES. Hey I live in Texas and love the Huskers. There's more Huskers fans in this state than any other state besides Nebraska, so don't knock Texas. This is The Huskers' back yard and always will be. The Eyes of Texas are ALL ON NEBRASKA this weekend. Fans, Recruits, high school coaches. LET'S KICK SOME SERIOUS a$$ AND GIVE THEM WHAT THEY WANT. This game - and many more at Jerry's place in the future, are going to pay off in spades for the Huskers in terms of high quality TEXAS recruits.

right now NU is the second best team in the Big 12 we beat OU who beat OSU, TT was when we were not playing good football at all there isnt any thing wrong with what we got here the other way will give a little more power to texas but i wont start that again

 
I would love it if this game was at JERRY'S PLACE every stinking year since we are going to be THERE EVERY STINKING YEAR. Our roster's going to be stocked with stud Texas high school athletes. We couldn't be in a better place right NOW!

im have no problems with the state only with UT they are my problem
