Texas Tech stealing from Nebraska again

I go to a movie to be entertained. No one is going to show you all the truths, of the inner working of a franchise anyway. The Replacements is a very entertaining. On Any Given Sunday was also good, just not as good, and I really didn't think they were trying to make me believe that's what its like on an NFL team.

Now, North Dallas Forty may have been closer to the inner workings.

GBR!!!

Yeah I'm pretty sure Any Given Sunday wasn't meant to be a documentary. But I think you're a little naive or maybe just being disingenuous if you're to tell me some of that stuff doesn't go on in the real life NFL.

Also, I've quoted that movie before and I can say with certainty I'm not a giant D-bag. In fact I'm a rock n roll badass who gets all the ladies.

I never thought Any Given Sunday was supposed to be a documentary. I guess the first impression of it was suppose to show the serious side of the NFL, atleast my feelings on it, maybe others too. I was just really turned off by it. The replacements however, I knew from the start it suppose to funny, so I didnt take it too seriously.

Both movies have their 'cheesy' and 'are you serious' moments in their. If both were on TV at sametime, I probably would watch the replacements over AGS.

I liked The Replacements as well. Haven't seen it since it was in theaters though, I'll have to see that again.

Let's not forget that "On Any Given Sunday" was developed from a script called "Monday Nights" written by Husker great Jamie Williams. You have to like it. Its in your blood to like all things Husker.

That might be true, but the filmmakers did a terrible job. The shaking camera is one of the worst ideas/effects ever devised. AGS was one of the most disappointing movies I've ever watched, and I went into it expecting good things.

Couldn't stand the replacements, but more then likely due to my hate of Keneau Reeves. And if I Spelled his name wrong, I could care less.

That's a good list.

1) Remember the Titans

2) Rudy

3) Friday Night Lights

is how I would have put it. But to each their own.

There's always gonna be a lot of demand for Nebraska highlights. Pretttty dedicated fanbase.
