Text message updates

I have to drive down to Dallas tomorrow to help my parents do some stuff around the house. Since I won't be home, obviously paying for the PPV or going to a Watch Party is out of the question. Does anyone know if I can sign up for free text message alerts for the game?

 
I get them through ESPN. I don't remember how though. Go there and search for like ESPN mobile alerts or something like that.

 
Here's an idea.

Does your phone have a browser that can stream radio? If so, listen to the game on your cell phone.

I've got an IPhone and listen to 620AM - The Zone - every morning on the way to work going between Portland and Salem, OR.

Also listened to the WKU game last Saturday on a Sirius portable receiver sitting on a sand bar on the Snake River at the bottom of Hell's Canyon on a raft trip. We were a long way from cell service there!

if you have an android or iphone you can download live scores aka sportacular and get real time updates of each score in the game + stats. its free. it works. download it.

 
You can sign up for Husker Extra text alerts through the Journal Star website.

i dont know if this still works but i used to get quarterly updates and scores for all major husker sports. txt huskers to 141414
