that much needed spark part 2

I wrote last week that Green provided no spark in the win vs. baylor. nor did he vs OU. Not that Lee did either but the blind hatred for Lee is over the top.

He managed the game as he was asked to do. he didn't commit silly turnovers and he didnt cost us the game.

We won we beat OU with Lee at QB and still we are on here bashing him. when will it stop.

I don't know for sure but my money is on a Loss if Green stayed in the game because he would have continued to make silly mistakes that would have cost us.

Again to the blind Lee bashing.

When are we gonna bash the real problem. the Oline. they aren't good. Peyton Manning himself would struggle with this Line.

Alot of you say Cody is the future. I don''t believe that either. Im not sure who is.

What i do know is the "spark" most likely will not come this year at least as we would like. I think the only spark we will see is the one we saw saturday and that was a good RB grinding yards and a QB who did NOT lose us the game. that is the "spark" we have right now.

They need to quit the wavering and announce Monday who is the QB and stick with them.

I believe it should be Lee but that is my opinion.

I will not sit here however and blindly bash a guy for any reason unlike so many who just have to blast Lee even tho he won us the OU game.

No before you go off about how he didn't win us the game, I saw a hundred posts after the Iowa St game that stated He didn't lose us the game but he is the QB and gets the brunt of the issues placed on his shoulders, so if that was the case then he damn sure deserves the bulk of the credit for winning us the OU game.

Green may be the future but are we playing for the future. Last i looked their is still 5 games left this season. if you include the Big 12 championship and the bowl

I blame him for the pitch fumble. However, I am not a Lee basher, but I do believe Green is our future. (I feel like I am talking about my political stances) Lee does have experience and would cause limited mistakes. However, all that was asked of him was a one yard pass and to hand off the ball. I do agree the erratic, at best, o-line is the problem.

I still believe Green will be a better QB because of his athleticism. He needs experience. I am ok with either quarterback because I do not think either will hurt our already damaged offense enough to cost us a game, except for, god willing, texas. I am more comfortable with Lee, but more excited with Green. I guess in this instance it is best to just trust the coaches. (Again, very similar to a political argument.)

As long as we stay in the I-formation and pound the rock while mixing in some play action I think either qb would suffice.

If the game was on the line we would be screwed regardless of who was under center.
