Without Keller we would have never been able to score on that 1st drive. Ganz was able to run the option on the 3rd & 6 and then that 3 yard TD run when the pass broke down was great.

This is very true. Keller is a good QB. It's just possible that Ganz is better.

I will not disrespect the heart and guts Sam Keller showed in his brief time here.

What defense, it honestly looks like we're only playing with about 7 guys out there.

A pure "college" coach might play both Ganz and Keller during the game, depending on the situation to make the defense respect the run and the pass. That would not be necessary with a great O line who could provide holes on the running plays, but we don't have that.

That is just Callahan's pro mentality, to not platoon qb's, even though it might be a better situation for us.
