The Case for Brian Kelly

The LJS makes a good case for Brian Kelly.

Sounds like he's a great salesman and an offensive guru. And he sounds damn confident. Add him to the list of guys I wouldn't mind getting, along with Pelini and Grobe.

Also we can try not to hold Gary Hart against him. We all did stupid things in our youth.

I don't think it's important where Grand Valley State is. The important part is the NC's and his record in particular the last 4 years. It's also important as to how fast he turned Central Michigan around as well as Cincinnati. Cincinnati does have the best record since 1953, and they are ranked in the top 25. He's a great coach no matter where he's coached.

I agree. I think he would be awesome for Nebraska.

I have to agree with you, "Brian Kelly is a good is a GOOD Coach." I really thought that TG was one of the top canidates. I bet Kelly can sale the hell out the Big Red Tradition and program. I really hope that TO interviews him. I'm sure Kelly would give TO something to thing about.

Kelly went on WCKY in Cincinnati today and said that there has been absolutely no contact between him and Nebraska. He said there's been nothing behind the scenes as well. He is a politician, so he might be lying, but this is what he said.
