Dijon Washington is a Redshirt Freshman. I'm not worried that we haven't heard his name yet. There are a LOT of guys ahead of him.

gomes is a badass. probably prince second. the others are pretty dang close to elite also.

man, our secondary is good.

Went with Gomes. His ballhawk mentality is what edged him over Prince. Prince is a lock down CB and probably better at the corner back position, but Gomes reads plays like Bethoven read music.

Absolutely ridiculous how stacked we are. They are all great in their own right so it's almost impossible to pick one.

I too have been thinking all along that Dennard is gone after this year. He is going end up with a killer highlight reel and some great stats this year, plus he will be able to go out on top with a B12 Champ/Natl Champ. ;)

The best defender in the secondary is whoever is covering the receiver the ball is thrown at! There, how's that?

I went with Gomes as he IMO is the most oppurtunistic and best playmaker we have on D but it's a close race considering our D is loaded.

its prince. he guards the best receiver and you still rarely hear his name. dennard is close behind. the unit altogether is the best i've ever seen.
