I think this October is going to be the biggest month for Nebraska football in the Callahan era. Showing that we can win on the road and beat a highly ranked opponent at home will be vital for the growth of our program. We have to beat all three of the "State" schools on the road (which should be possible). Sandwiched between them is the BIG one vs. Texas! I know I am not the only one jacked up about this HUGE month of football for the 'Skers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just look at one game at a time. It nots like in the old days when you could just look past teams. Pretty much every team in the big twelve is good. They could all beat NU at anytime. NU just needs to play smart football and not turn the ball over. All I want is the Huskers to play like they can. Last night, they did for a little while but then clocked out. You cant do that In the Big twelve. But yes October is going to be a huge challenge, I am looking forward to next week, Its on the tube! :bonez

 
October will be very important to the Callahan legacy. With winning on the road being a glaring weakness up to this point 3 road games this month will be the perfect time to reverse that. It's up to the coaches to unleash the WCO and the blackshirts. Balance on offense and an attacking D. We shall see!

 
Big time month for us with all the road games and of course the UT game at home. We will have to come out and play 110% all game long, never letting up. GBR!
