The Husker Wrestling Spirit Leaders

The Husker Wrestling Spirit Leaders are a student organization dedicated to supporting and promoting the Nebraska Wrestling Team. We are recognized student organization the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. We act as support system to the wrestling team by going to all the home matches, following them to some away matches and many other things.

We have 10 members this year that are looking to volunteer at the NCAA Division 1 Wrestling Championships in Philadelphia in March. Our only problem is that we are short funding for our airfare and hotel stays.

Our group was selected by the Pepsi Refresh Project to have our idea voted on throughout the month of January. We must be in the top 10 by the end of the month in order to win $25,000 for our organization. This would help us get to Philadelphia! We need Husker fans to help us out and vote for our idea everyday in the month of January!

Yes it does! Our group has been trying and it is tough trying to get all my friends to vote! School starts again on Monday and that will help us to spread the word even more. Any ideas on how we can get more attention?

ive voted and spread the link from pepsi on my facebook. U got the right idea, visit husker msg boards and spread the word. U let husker fans know, and the voting will take care of itself. Just a matter of them getting off their football horse for a poll and showing that husker nation wins them all.
