The LAST NU Maroon Out Game

I understand why you may not be a huge fan of the first one...but you DO owe it to yourself to check out the second one.

For those that don't remember, the three times we have played them since then we have won all three with a combined score of 122-43. Not that that has any more to do with Saturday's game than the '98 game, but there you go for what it's worth.

Gosh, you don't have to be so MEAN.

AgMarauder04, question - I can't recall this being discussed, but it might have been. I've been living in Arkansas since the days of the Southwest Conference (in other words, far too long). I know the kind of rivalry between A&M and Texas - the Texas game was alwasy THE game for A&M. And what I also recall was that it often seemed that A&M would overlook whomever was their opponent prior to the Texas game - the Texas game was that important to A&M. So...

Has there been any concern of that this week in Aggie land? Have the boards down there been focusing on NU or the Longhorns?

I haven't heard a PEEP about the tu game this weekend. As far I know, everybody is talking about NU and that if we want a chance, we have to bring our A game. This is a big game for us.

nice tradition video

btw we lead the series 9-2

and the score of all the games combined is 319 to 141

NU 319

TAMU 141

just letting you know

Damn. Not what I wanted to hear. To be honest, The Aggies scare me to death. A home game, so much on the line for them, and the chance to come into the Texas game with momentum - a lot of positives on your side in a game between two pretty evenly matched teams...

the aggies arent so scary away from home , but after watching the OU vs A&M game last week.. Jesus.. that freakin place gets rockin... Its like.. the student section is the whole place

Everyone knows that in most schools the students make the most noise , do the chants etc etc.. well.. in A&M land , the whole stadium looks like its students.. Rofl

would be a big win for us

Does anyone have the 2002 game on tape or DVD. I know Neb came back from 17 down with only a few mins left in the game. I wanna see this game again. It was on TBS, so i doubt they will ever show it on ESPN Classics (I havent seen any TBS or Fox Sports college games on there). :(

Jamar Toombs had a great game for A&M that day, whilst Solich and Newcombe showed their true colors.

Newcombe was whining at a receiver (Wilson Thomas?) about not getting open.

I don't know how we won there in 2002. Mediocre NU team - we had just lost on the road to OSU. It looked bad. When we went down by 14, I went to PF Chang's for dinner thinking, "We're done..."

Then I flip onteh radio... "Davidf Horne splits the defense!" David Horne had his best game as a Husker that night.

If Fran calls plays like he did last week, we stand a great chance! Fran, on FOURTH down and goal, you call the deep drop option/fade...
