The last time MU was ranked ahead of NU when they played

I'm surprised its been that long. I would think during the Brad Smith years you guys might have been ahead.

But it looks to be that way this year. Even if we obliterate Iowa St...its still Iowa St. You guys have a bye so you'll likely just move up.

Here's to a top twenty game (lets hope)

I top 20 game would be awesome. It is probably a very long shot, but getting game day would be a first for Columbia. The two obvious bigger games that day are LSU vs. Florida and Texas vs. OU. The LSU vs. Florida is a CBS game and ESPN doesn't like to do game day for a CBS game. They have done game day for the Texas vs. OU game several times, so hopefully they want to switch it up a bit.

Not holding my breath though since ESPN barely knows we exist.

Yeah...they'll take the top ten matchup over it...

It seems the north and the south will be decided on the same day
I hope that game decides it. If Mizzou doesn't win I would want Nebraska to take the north. I don't want to take anything for granted. We have been in the drivers seat for the north several times and found a way to mess it up. I think they will lose some games, but KU has the easiest conference schedule possible this year. They only play Baylor, Oklahoma State and Texas A&M from the south. No Texas or OU.

Honestly, it would be better for the game not to be televised. If both teams look poor (as is likely the case) you can bet that the announcers will continually harp on how weak NU is and how weak the B12 North is.

It would be better for the NU program to fly under the radar until it can regroup (when that will be, I am not certain) so that it is no longer paraded on national TV as a laughingstock.

But, maybe they regroup duing the Missouri game and look OK. That is all we can hope for.
