The NCAA will allow athletes to profit from their name, image, and likeness

Can't be too many $40M rosters if this is the total.

Although a lot of deals were front-loaded before this went into effect.

Strong comments from Nebraska coach Matt Rhule about the Huskers' ability and desire to be aggressive financially in the transfer portal during the offseason ahead.

"I'm no longer worried about... We got what we need to go get the best players in the country."

More on that: "Some people might have more than us, but we've got a lot."

On the players who left Nebraska last offseason, Rhule says, "I bet some of them wish they could be back here right now, to be honest."

I have no idea what the facts are in this case or if the program has a legitimate case. But, anyone paying attention knew something like this was going to happen at some point.

The university is asking a judge to compel Wilson into arbitration, arguing he violated terms of a 14-month NIL contract he signed with the Classic City Collective in December 2024.

Wilson, who is now Missouri’s top pass rusher, received a $30,000 initial payment before entering the transfer portal less than two weeks later, the filing states.

Under the contract’s liquidated-damages clause, he owed the remainder of the deal nearly $400,000 in a lump sum if he withdrew from the team.

This is just not good for college football. The system has been fucked up for a very long time. This is just a different kind of fucked up.
