The next teams to the B1G

So Maryland and Rutgers are on board. I don't think Delany stops at 14. Question is, who do you get? Here are a couple of scenarios that I see happening.

Louisville: Big East, likely candidate because it wants out of the Big East so bad and it expands somewhat into the South. Not a home run but still viable. Borders 3 B1G states.

Boston College: ACC, if Maryland can negotiate out of the $50M buyout, Delany could start looking at Boston TV's. Plus with the start of the B1G hockey conference they would be a good addition.

UConn: Big East, Has something to offer for a few sports. Will be one of the few football schools left there. Could solidify the NE area of the country.

Virginia: ACC, See Boston College. Also if the SEC comes after Clemson, FSU or Miami, They may want to look elswhere. Plus the state of Virginia is growing in population.

Virginia Tech: ACC, Same as BC and Virginia

Pittsburgh: ACC, May rethink the move to the ACC if that conference starts to get poached and it locks up Pennsylvania TV's

Syracuse: ACC, Same as Pitt and could get more NY TV

Cincinnatti: Big East, Same as Louisville

Iowa State: Big XII, Geographically fits but does not get more TV's or traditional power in anything

Kansas/K-State: Big XII, Good for basketball and somewhat football. Might get the KC and St Louis TV's

Notre Dame: Could rethink ACC alliance if ACC gets poached too badly. Probably not going to happen.

Anyway, just looking at possibilities. I don't really care where they expand as long as the Huskers are winning.
