Heard from a guy who, heard from a guy that the option has made a return to Tom Osborne field.  They have been running it on short yardage.  Any one have any word on this.

I am sure if he can execute a "West Coast" type offense, he can handle running an option maybe once a game.

Probably, we can execute a real offense now. We do not have to have gimmick plays.

Executing the offense in a live game and executing it in a fluff scrimmage are two totally different things. And it's always good to have a few plays saved for a 'rainy day'. Man, didn't you watch The Waterboy? That was based on a true story!
