Since the mods closed the thread I'll throw this out. I don't recall TO saying he wasn't going to make any changes before the season is over. I could be wrong but I believe he stated that "he has no plans to make any changes". There is a big difference. You guys act like TO has handcuffed himself to a chair and refuses to make any changes no matter what. The program is in a mess and was getting worse by the hour. TO simply stated he had no plans. Now if things change plans change. That's not lying that's called making appropritate decisions at the appropriate time. I have no intention of pestering the local law enforcement but if someone breaks into my house you can bet I will. I have no intention of filling my car with gas today either. That is unless I find that it needs it.I don't think the public needs to know everything that happens behind closed doors while it's happening. But there's a difference between not telling the whole truth and flat-out lying. TO could be hurting his own legacy and credibility. Everything's still conjecture right now though. Let's wait and see what happens before pointing any fingers.I blame his stint as a congressman. :boxThanks for the info. It'll be interesting to see how Husker Nation reacts if true. Some are already questioning TO's honesty if the coaches are removed.
(But seriously..Can you really ever be totally honest when talking to the public?)
It's not lying and it does not hurt the mans reputation. The mans reputation speeks for itself and until we have actual unquestionable evidence to the contraray we give the man the credit he has EARNED!
