I took my wife and 3 kids to the game Saturday. I try to go to 1-2 games a year and have been going for about 15 years. I didn't get to see any TO teams in person but I have seen all teams since. The feel of the game is different in person and I really get a better feel for the strength of our program from the stadium better than I do on TV. So many things are visible that you just can't see on TV. That said, this was the softest team I have seen in a Nebraska uniform. We have some players doing great... but as a team we look soft. I am no expert, but I felt like I was watching Illinois or Rutgers wearing our scarlet and cream.
I am a really optimistic guy who doesn't get down on our team easily... but Saturday was enough for me. I have lost all excitement for the season. Right now I view our ceiling as hopefully being able to beat Rutgers next week. So sad.
