There is no way we lose this game...

Losses are always possible but when you look hard at what separates us from Texas. It is the NU O line and the superior NU defense.

We will dominate with our O line and they will have a hard time scoring on NU's defense. Those two factors make it hard to lose this one.

1. Tom Osborne's speech from the 1995 Orange bowl keeps running through my head. Nebraska had been outplayed in the first half, was down 10-7, and it looked like Miami was going to do what Florida teams had been doing to Nebraska all through the 80's and early 90's. But at halftime Osborne finished his prophetic speech by saying, "This time we're gettin' it done! No excuses! This time we're going to get it done!"

2. I don't think Nebraska has been this hungry for a victory since Oklahoma in 1978. How the hunger manifested itself on that day:

i love keith jackson's call at 0:21. he says they are calling it dead. i think kelly phelps would agree and probably thought he was dead until the numbness abated on the left side of his body. that was a bone rattler!
