This Loss Hurts The Most

Our losses:

USC = we played very tentatively on the road and were never in it the second half.

Texas = fumbled away the win.

Okie State = were dominating but then had complete defensive meltdown to lose.

Oklahoma = just could not score on their defense.

Auburn = :WTH We had this game and should have won.

Like I said, USC and Oklahoma beat us fairly soundly...these other 3 losses are very frustrating. We at least should have gone 2-1 instead of 0-3 in those games. Then again, we could have easily lost the A&M game. 5 losses is disheartening...wins against Texas and today against Auburn would have been very encouraging for the program and made this a great season. Instead the season sort of ends flat...
wilson has shown nothing but the ability to fumble this year...that is why he was not going to see the field....i just dont think that they trusted jacksons hand......and that hurt us. Lucky ran well...but did get tired to wait...I still think marlon will be a great player on his senior year.

I noticed that Lucky didn't seem to have that same burst I was used to seeing all year long.............anyone else notice that???

I thought Lucky played well but was wearing down because he was carrying most of the load against a very tough defense.

I agree as the game went on he got wore down, but I'm talking even at the beginning of the game he seemed hesistant sometimes. He was patient most of the time, but also hesistant. I was used to seeing him hit the hole so fast and hard it was amazing to me and I didn't see that in this game???

Did you notice what we Auburn fans have been telling you? You run straight at us we can't stop you. You guys ran the ball well straight at us. It's when you tried to get fancy did our speed catch up to you. If you would have kepted pounding away straight at us, you'd blown us out. I just feel fortunate our defense showed up to keep us in the game. Our offense stunk and credit that to your defense as well. Keep your heads up Nebraska. You're a classy program and take this loss and build from it. I just pray we find some offense next year or it's going to be a long season for us next season. Go Huskers!!!

WARRRRR EAGLE!!!!!
Damn this guy pwns.

You are the first one to bring that up. Yes, I told my son the same thing. I thought a couple of times he was going to break a big one and the next thing you see is him being dragged down from behind or from an Auburn player coming from the side. He used to have that extra burst when some one was reaching for him.

GBR!!!

Hard to say how well recovered Lucky is from the hamstring problems and his back injury. At times he showed alot of promise and then a couple times he fell over from a gust of wind. Even with the four back system it was difficult to keep them healthy. That certainly shows the importance of DEPTH.
