This should never happen in high school sports

This is all talent and no coaching.

This video is pretty intense and shows a totally different world in high school sports. I grew up in New Jersey and played high school sports there and never once heard any coach from any town, big or small, talk like these coaches do. I think it's absolutely wrong for them to get away with this. I coach high school football in Nebraska for a few years and we would never get away with this. I'll tell you what, if any of my children ever had a coach like these guys, I'd pull them right out.

As a 5th and 6th grade football coach I am sickened to see this crap! Grown men who act like a bunch of thugs! Most of these innner city kids have no father figure so they rely on coaches, counselors and teachers to be their mentors. This is just disgusting. I swear to God if anyone EVER coaches my sons like that, I will be in jail for assault. Good find Eric!

Things must be different down south because I've seen stuff like this at the high school I attended. One of our coaches head-butted one of our players when he had his helmet on and actually knocked him down. This stuff isn't a stretch down here.

:)

I have control of the RC most of the time, then She comes home and if I want a remote it's the one for the 12" B'n'W in the kitchen. Such is my life.

You know I can understand slapping a guy in the helmet as in trying to get him fired up, but I can't understand slapping him that hard and being pissed about something. If my coaches were pissed at me they didn't slap me like that. What they did is put their arm around my shoulder pads and get right in my earhole and tell me, "You know you just screwed up right? You also know I'm pissed about it right? You also know I'm going to run you until you puke right?" and that was that?!

If that m-f'r touched my son , I would break his f'ing neck.

Winning is important. But not at that price.

What a coward es f#*k wad.

This player could have ultimately pressed charges..couldn't he?
Yes, he definately could've pressed charges if he wanted to. If a coach did that to my son though I wouldn't have to worry about that because I would beat his a$$!!!! The kid did think he was the $hit though and it looks like he screwed all that he had up in the long run.
