Someone stole Husker quarterback Tommy Armstrong's Hoverboard, iPad, bookbag and textbooks from a car in north Lincoln this week, police said Friday.

The Hoverboard — sort of like a floating skateboard — and the other items, valued at $1,105, were in an unlocked vehicle parked in the 5400 block of North 11th Street, according to a police report.

Armstrong told police they were snatched between early morning Wednesday and Thursday morning.

But I want to know more about this hoverboard thingy. Was the car they were stolen from a DeLorean?

 
That'd be nice, he could go back and learn what the '95 team was, since that's the only way to find out apparently.

Why stop there? He could go back and check out '70 and '71, stop in and check out the '83 offense and patiently sit through the '94 season waiting for '95 to start.

Everyone knows a Hoverboard can't take you back in time, you need the Delorean it came from and some banana peels.
