Well, one of them made the Pro Bowl in his first season in the NFL haha
I remember reading somewhere in an interview with Colt McCoy, after he retired, that he was pissing blood after that game, relating it specifically to Suh’s punishment in that game.

I have no proof but I believe when texas played Bama for the National title, only like a month later, that’s why Colt was taken out of that game in the first quarter, from the lingering health affects from the beating he took in the B12 championship game

Funny story about Suh from our bowl game that same year. About 3:00 they get to the real meaty stuff

As I recall, McCoy had a problem with his throwing arm and may have been a stinger/pinched nerve. He was definitely feeling the pain after the Big 12 title game, but I'm not sure if there was a correlation between the two as they were a month or so apart.

In my experience, my memory is horribly unreliable I should mention. It looked suspicious to me at the time, injury wise I mean insofar as it didnt look like that serious of a hit that he took. It was like texas’s first possession. I would have to watch it again

Also higher than I expected but TEs, in particular the traditional big guys who can block, are back in style. Seattle uses a lot of TEs (others do as well) , and it's a copycat league. There was a run on TEs but it pretty much started with Boerkircher so it's not like he just benefitted from scarcity. The guys drafted before (Sadiq, Stowers) and shortly after (Klein, Klare) are not great blockers. Leading up to the draft Boerkircher was talked about as one of the better blockers, the fact that he went above a couple of the other TEs means at least the Jags probably considered him the best.
 
Raiola looks like he drove to Eugene and stopped at every gas station along the way and inhaled some roller dogs.

I’m old enough to remember him saying he trained in kick boxing all summer to get in-shape this past season. I can’t believe he isn’t dieting or training better.
